Parent Tutor Program

LSNA has partnered with 6 of 8 schools that host a Parent Mentor Program to develop a Parent Tutor Program.  The Parent Tutors are trained Parent Mentor graduates who provide one-on-one reading and math tutoring to students who are falling behind.  The Parent Tutor Program was launched in January 2005 as a pilot program through the Corporation for National and Community Service.  For more information, contact Ofelia Sanchez at LSNA.
