Childcare Provided

LSNA Community Learning Centers provide childcare for parents attending classes GED Classes in English and Spanish and English as a Second Language (ESL).

Maylin Quiñones is the Child Care Coordinator for the Community Learning Centers. “Our childcare providers are trained to help children get ready for school.” Myriam Balaguer has provided child care for parents at Funston Elementary School for the past 9 years. “I love working with children. The children look forward to being here and that makes me proud!” said Myriam.
