2010 LSNA Student Alcohol Awareness Poster Contest

Alcohol is the most widely used drug among youth. 8,000 kids under the age of 13 start drinking every day and alcohol is responsible for more than 4,500 deaths per year under age 21.  Early use of alcohol can slow down a child’s physical, mental, and social development. Research shows that children who abuse alcohol may remember 10 percent less of what they learned than those who do not drink.
