Kraft Foods Employees 'Make a Delicious Difference' in Logan Square

Under the leadership of Amy Whittaker from Chicago Cares, 22 Kraft Foods employees worked on two community garden projects in partnership with LSNA. 

The team from Kraft Foods did an outstanding job at Palmer Square Garden and Paseo Prairie Garden. “The garden looks beautiful and the walking path has been put to good use,” was one of many comments heard by Judy Torres, Residents Activity Coordinator for Palmer Square Apartments. Kraft Foods employees also created concrete slabs with inspirational messages for the garden. Several seniors from Logan Vistas Elderly Apartments praised and thanked the volunteers as they finished their work at Paseo Garden.
