Avondale and Bank of America Partner to Build Green Roof

Avondale Elementary School children participated in the “green roof” beautification project and read essays on the importance of living in a clean environment led by Archi-treasures for Bank of America. The ribbon cutting included remarks by Alderman Rey Colón alongside Principal Ana Martinez-Estka and her students. Bank of America presented a$25,000 grant to LSNA to support increased availability and improvement of parks and open space in Logan Square.
