Americorps & Public Allies lend over 50 hands to beautify our community with Logan Square neighbors

Thank You to Americorps and Public Allies along with children from Monroe Elementary and their parents who volunteered in two of Logan Square's beautiful community gardens. These volunteers lent over 50 hands to beautify our community, help bring neighbors together and build relationships.

We have two community gardens located near senior buildings whose residents enjoy the beauty and tranquility of these gardens. Paseo Prairie Gardenis located across from the South entrance of the CTA blue line El and blue mural wall with yellow steel silhouettes of community members.

The LSRA Neighbors Garden can be found next door to 2531 N. Sacramento. If you are interested in volunteering in any of these gardens please call, Rosita De La Rosa at LSNA (773) 384-4370 x10 for more information.

High School students can also fulfill their community service learning hours through LSNA.
