Volunteers needed at LSNA to help others become US citizens

Be Part of our New American's Initiative Team

LSNA is looking for committed people to help us with our ongoing New American’s Initiative (NAI) citizenship work.  Each month we host a Citizenship Workshop where volunteers help fill out the N-400 citizenship application. This citizenship model, which includes accredited agencies and legal support, has been replicated throughout the country to great success. In the last 7 years, the project has helped over 87,000 Illinois legal permanent residents apply for citizenship.  All volunteers must go through a one-time training. Workshops are held one Saturday per month from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. We ask that you commit to at least 4 Saturdays per year.
